About KBPE
Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) is the central education body of Kerala established in 1965. It works independently and functions under the Ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Kerala. Its motto is to “Reach the Unreached” within Kerala with private and regular mode with special focus on sidelined socio-economic and religious sections.
Being a government body and working in the field of education, it designs its content and books for class 1 to 12 and delivers education corresponding to all levels of the formal school system. It also conducts Public Examinations like SSLC, HSC, SSC and many more.
The board thrives to promote world-class education in Kerala and that’s why it is known as the most literate state in India and also the first state to achieve 100% primary education.
Functions of KBPE
Some of the chief functions of the KBPE- Kerala Board of Public Examination is to enforce the rules and regulations which have been set for the schools affiliated with the Kerala Board. Other added functions include governing and executing activities like prescribing syllabus, devising courses of study, conducting exams, providing directions and support, and giving affiliations to colleges
SCERT is abbreviated form of State Council of Educational Research and Training. There are two major boards responsible for primary, secondary, and higher secondary education in Kerala. The KSEB conducts the SSLC class 10 exams while DHSE, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education conducts the HSE exam for plus one and two, i.e. for class 11 and 12 every year.
SCERT & Education in Kerala
SCERT or The The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Kerala, is an education board of Kerala responsible for formulating the curriculum for the schools affiliated to it. It is an independent body accountable for planning, implementing and analyzing of all the academic programs from preschool to higher secondary levels.
English is the main language of instruction in private schools. While for government schools, English and Malayalam serve the same purpose. There are two regulatory bodies for the primary and secondary education in Kerala namely,

KSEB
The Kerala State Education Board (KSEB) is the education board of Kerala which is accountable for conducting the class 10 exam or SSLC exam for all the affiliated schools and award the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) to the students who clear it. The main subjects that are included in the high school are Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Social Sciences, First Language (English, Malayalam, etc.), Second Language, and Third Language (Hindi, GK). The exams are generally conducted in March and results are declared by May.
DHSE
DHSE or The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education was established in 1990 and entered into force by 2000-2001. The Government of Kerala set up DHSE with the motive of promoting 360-degree development in Higher Secondary Education by uncoupling pre-degree programs from university education.

The syllabus for Kerala Board is specified by KSEB and is updated regularly to meet the growing global standard of education. The topics to be included in the syllabus for both SSLC and the DHSE exam are prepared by thorough research and mind-mapping to provide top-notch education to the students.

Kerala Board Result
Kerala SSLC Exam for class 10 is conducted in March every year and the results are generally declared in May. The DHSE results for 11th (plus one) and 12th ( plus two) standard are also generally released on May every year. The results for the SSLC and DHSE can be found from the links given below.
