KEAM stands for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical. It is a state-level entrance examination series to seek admissions to various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. It is organized by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams run by the Government of Kerala.

Model of Entrance Test

Engineering Courses

This exam to take admission into engineering colleges includes topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taught in 11th and 12th grade of Kerala State Education Board Higher Secondary Examinations and similar boards and national boards such as CBSE and ICSE. The entrance exam takes place in two parts. Part I is Mathematics and Part II is Physics and Chemistry.

Medical Courses

This is similar to the Medical Entrance Tests conducted by AIIMS and NEET. The exam consists of five sections namely, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.

Architectural Courses

These courses according to the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, is ranked based on National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NASA) as per directives of the Council of Architecture, India.
