JEE Main College & Counseling

The candidates qualifying in JEE Main will be eligible to participate in the counseling process. The seat allotment process will take place in June 2020.

JEE Main Counselling starts after the declaration of both JEE Main and JEE Advanced Result. Counseling and joint seat allocation process are conducted by JoSAA for admissions to 97 institutes including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 20 Other GFTIs. Admissions to all the undergraduate programs offered by these 97 institutes will be made through a single platform.

JEE Main Seat Allocation Process

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), is the conducting body of the JEE Main 2020 counseling & seat allotment process. The counselling and seat allotment of JEE Main 2020 will be conducted by JoSAA tentatively form June 2020 to July 2020. Candidates will have to register on the official website of JoSAA to participate in the process. Primarily, JoSAA will conduct two mock rounds followed by seven rounds of counseling. These mock rounds will help students to know the seats that they will be allotted based on their choice filling. The seat allotment process will be done based on the choices filled by candidates during JoSAA 2020 registration.
