The iOM is the distinguished exam conducted by Silver Zone to evaluate the potential and intelligence of the students in the field of Mathematics. This exam further assesses the imagination and problemsolving ability of students to fully unveil their true capabilities.
It is held annually at the National and International levels, as per the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE, ICBSE, or any other state board.
The Olympiad examination results are declared in the form of reports to enable students to focus on their strengths and work on their weak areas to achieve excellence.
The examination is held at three levels:
Level 1: All the registered students of classes 1st to 12th are eligible to take part in Level 1.
Level 2: Top 1000 International Olympiad Rank holders (iOM, iOS, iOEL) of the first level from each class will compete for the top position in a secondlevel examination provided they secure minimum 50% marks. Additionally, all class 1st Rank holders who have secured more than 75% marks in Level 1 for school having more than 100 participants are also eligible for Level 2.
Level 3: Students holding the 1st rank in Olympiad from classes 6th to 12th from 2nd level will be eligible for Level 3 which will be conducted at New Delhi, India.
All students of class 1to 12 are eligible for this exam.
The Olympiad is organized in the respective schools of the participants during the school hours. The exam pattern is as follows
An objectivetype test is designed for 60 minutes duration, encompassing 40 multiplechoice questions (MCQs) for classes 1 and 2; and 50 MCQs for the classes 3 to 12. The question paper standard depends on the class and mostly consists of three sections
The exam is conducted in English language only. The iOM is conducted on two dates. Schools can select either of the dates for conducting the Olympiad as per their convenience. There are a separate set of question papers on both examination dates.
