An Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales operation of the company in a particular geographical area
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and increasing sales of company’s products
• Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
• Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
• Servicing the needs of your existing customers
• Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
• Setting sales targets for all the individuals in the team
• Allocating areas to managers and executives
• Developing sales strategies and setting targets
• Monitoring team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
• Compiling and analyzing sales figures
• Collecting customers feedback and market research
• Reporting to senior managers
• Keeping up to date with products and competitors
• Responsible for reviewing the performance of the team periodically and implementing course corrections wherever required
• Preparing Sales & Marketing forecasts
• Develops self & Team, promotes good work ethics & professionalism
• Gather Market Intelligence and share with the Company for future product development.

Education and Experience:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent
• Master’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration
• Must have advanced computer knowledge and skills
• 8 to 10 years of related experience with progressive management experience
