The word Parvati is derived from the Sanskrit word “mountain”. As per Hindu Mythology, she’s suggested as the calmest goddess of affection, devotion, placid, docile and trusted of all the deities but equally powerful who can transcend herself into primal fierce, ferocious, aggressive, destructive powers against injustice and dishonesties!
The mild side of Hindu deity is described as honest, beautiful, and benevolent wearing a red dress. Once represented aboard with Shiva she’s usually seen embracing two arms, however alone she is represented having four arms. If once enraged she can only become peaceful by keeping the foot on Shiva’s chest!
Modestly, “Parvati” belongs to mountains and called as “She of mountains” also referred to as Annapurna, Kali, Shailaputri, Haimavathi and ‘Girija’ or ‘Girirajaputri’. Parvati’s name is typically thought as ‘pavitra’, which means ‘sinless’ or ‘holy’ in Sanskrit!

Ma Parvati Mantra

‘ऊँ गौरये नमः!

Parvati is considered as the bases of all types of powers which are used for resounding any complex energies from the gods and Devas, making her the goddess of devotion, power, and peace- but still Parvati isn’t physically worshiped alone, in temples due to the mythological stories depicting Manasa her step-daughter who conceded non-acceptance towards her, due to her furious and vicious temper because of her refutations from husband and family members!
Indeed, she is most prevailing of all the deities- another half of Shiva, one who has the power to create as well as destroy the entire universe, the gods and triads in mere seconds. Even Trinity i.e. Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva respect and not want to infuriate her at anytime.
The only way to make her happy is reciting the “Swayamvara Parvati mantra” 1008 times for 108 days with focus, peace, and devotion in God’s way”!
“Om Hreem Yoginim Yogini Yogeswari Yoga Bhayankari Sakala Sthavara
Jangamasya Mukha Hridayam Mama Vasam akarsha Akarshaya Swaha”!
