The CTET 2019 results have been released by CBSE on July 30. The results can be checked on the official website i.e. cbseresults.nic.in and on ctet.nic.in. by entering the roll number. A total of 29.22 lakh applicants were registered for this examination, out of which 23.77 lakh appeared in the examination which was held on July 8. Over 3.50 lakh candidates have been declared qualified by the board. This time, the CTET result is declared in a record time of 23 days after completion of the examination.
The exam is conducted at central level to recruit teachers in centrally funded schools. CTET score is valid for seven years from the date of declaration of result for all categories. There is no cap on the total number of attempts a candidate can make for the exam. Therefore, all candidates can appear for CTET as many times as they wish to. Any candidate who has cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE may appear again for the entrance exam to improve the score.
Under CBSE Examination Weeding out rules, eligibility test including OMR Answer sheet is preserved for up to two months from the date of declaration of result. Subsequently, it will be disposed of as per weeding out rules.
Final Answer Key
Before the declaration of CTET results, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released CTET final answer key 2019 for Paper 1 & Paper 2 at CTET official website and the candidates were given chance to raise objections towards the preliminary keys till July 26.
Results in Digilocker
This year CBSE will not share a CTET certificate in mailing address. Candidates need to download it from Digilocker Account. CBSE has released the CTET mark sheets to all candidates and eligibility certificates to qualified candidates in Digital Format. The mark sheets and eligibility certificates to all successful candidates will be digitally signed and are legally valid as per the IT Act. Digilocker is the Government of India’s cloud-based platform for verification and issuance of documents & certificates digitally.
Furthermore, the mark sheets and eligibility certificates contain an encrypted QR Code to enhance security and the same can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app. The login credentials will be conveyed to the candidate on the mobile number registered with CBSE. The candidates will be able to download their digital mark sheets and eligibility certificates using the communicated credentials.
As per CBSE orders, the machine-gradable answer sheets are assessed ‘with extreme care and are repeatedly examined. No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation or scrutiny of OMR Answer Sheets will be entertained. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained’.
