AP EAMCET is a state-level entrance exam that offers admissions into various UG courses offered by colleges in Andhra Pradesh. It is administered by Jawahar Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). There are 205 Private and 17 Government colleges who accept AP EAMCET scores.

This examination gives admissions to the following courses-

AP-EAMCET Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidates must be a citizen of India or a person with Indian origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder.
  2. The candidates must be local or nonlocal of Andhra Pradesh.
  3. The candidates must pass intermediate (10+2) or be registered for intermediate public examinations and Diploma from A.P. Board of Intermediate Education.
  4. The candidates appearing for NEET 2019 must have passed class 11th and 12th with a minimum of 5 subjects from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects.
  5. The candidates must complete 17 years of age as of 31st December 2019 and should not exceed 22 years for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST candidates should not be more than 25 years.
  6. The candidates must secure a minimum of 45% in their 10+2 or any other recognized equivalent examination.
